Contact Improv Jam

Come learn how to dance this amazing collaborative dance with me & Us! Contact Improv Dance is a dance form that involves rolling points of contact, lifting, floor work and more. Are you an avid ecstatic dancer and want to be more confidant dancing with others? Wanting to explore how to have safe, intimate and nourishing dances in general? Come learn, grow and connect with me and us 🙂 Class 7-8pm titled “Consent and Contact”, jam 8-10pm.

Cyrena Giordano has been dancing contact and inspiring & educating on consent culture for the last 10 years. She’s been a religious attender of ecstatic dance in every city she’s lived in, on top of studying in- depth contact improv more deeply for about two years before that and then dancing and teaching ever since. She appreciates weaving the interplay of how incredible the principles of contact improv connect with how to have healthy, sustainable and nourishing relationships in life, which she will touch on in the class and jam.
