Kirtan with Anton, Kristen Sofia, and Ganesha Das

Anton Mizerak (tabla) and Kristen Sofia (harmonium) will join Ganesha Das for a Kirtan at 7PM on Friday, January 10 at Soul Connections Community Center

Ganesha Das is a accomplished ektar player and kirtan leader.  He lead the Sunday afternoon kirtan at Harbin Hot Springs for nineteen years and has been leading kirtan in Ashland for the past nine years.

Anton began playing tabla in Kathmandhu, Nepal in 1986 and played his first kirtan at the Sweta mecchendranath mandir in Kathmandu in 1988.  He had recently returned from Nepal where he studied more tabla and classical Indian vocal and co-lead kirtan at Narayanhiti for a shukla paksha ekadashi festival.

Kristen Sofia is a hypnotherapist and counselor who began playing harmonium and singing kirtan with Ganesha Das three years ago. She travelled to India this past spring to deepen her bhakti path.
